Joint Awards

Award nominations are no longer being accepted

In the third year of the Translational Science meeting, the sponsoring and partnering organizations of ACRT, AFMR, APOR, and SCTS will continue to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of investigators and educators in the field.

Six awards will be offered:

1. Distinguished Investigator Awards:
a.Translation from bench research to patient application – the APOR Edward H. Ahrens, Jr. Award
b.Translation from early clinical use to applicability for widespread clinical practice
c.Translation from clinical use into public benefit and policy
2. ACRT Distinguished Educator Award
3. AFMR Outstanding Investigator Award
4.Team Science Award

The recipient of each award will be recognized during Translational Science 2012, April 18-20, 2012 in Washington, DC and be given ten minutes to make a presentation.
